Stephen Padilla, Writer-Director

Stephen Padilla is an award-winning writer-director. His first feature film, The Little Things, was selected for the IFP Independent Filmmaker Labs. It was named “Best of the Fest” at the Philadelphia Film Festival, won the Audience Award at Red Bank and received a Gold Remi Award at WorldFest. Stephen has written the feature-length screenplays Guidos (Ivy League Pictures), The Barona Brothers (Romano Productions) and The Unaffiliated (Cabana 33 Productions). He has also done rewrite work for 120dB Films. Stephen has an M.F.A. in Film from Columbia University and a B.A. in Screenwriting from Georgetown University. He has won the Zaki Gordon Award for Excellence in Screenwriting and the Columbus Citizens Foundation Writing Fellowship. His critically-acclaimed full-length play, Picking Palin, sold out its entire run at the 2010 New York International Fringe Festival. Stephen has been called, “a fresh new voice on the independent American film scene.” Kisses, Chloe is his second feature film as a writer-director.
